A pair of Chinese famille rose baluster vases with warrior on horseback panels and figures within a landscape opposing, both with wavy gilt edged rims and with mythical beasts to the shoulders, (2) 10 x 26cm.
One vase has no obvious chips, cracks, or repairs. The other has what appears to be a chip out the glaze at the foot rim, a tiny chip at the rim, and what appears to be an original imperfection that has formed a rounded dimple underneath the edge of the rim. There are generally some small losses to the paint, and the gilt around the rim is mostly worn away.
